Trains From Denver to Moab

If you’re planning a trip to the Utah mountains, you might want to take the train from Denver to Moab. You can take the SilverLeaf, Rocky Mountaineer, or Denver and Salt Lake Railway. These trains operate throughout the day and offer great views of the mountains and canyons. The train from Denver to Moab can take about four and a half hours. If you’re travelling by car, you can also take a bus from the train station to downtown Moab. This gives you about an hour to explore Moab and have lunch before returning to the train station for the return trip to Denver.

The route also includes an overnight stop in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, where guests can stay at the Glenwood Hot Springs Resort.

The Rocky Mountaineer train takes passengers from Denver to Moab, UT, in two days. Along the way, they can enjoy fine dining and enthralling excursions. In between, they get to sleep comfortably in luxurious hotel accommodations. Besides the quality service and regional cuisine, the Rocky Mountaineer offers other perks, too. These include the flexibility to change your name, which you can do up to 30 days in advance. The original name, however, must remain on the booking.
